Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer

£45,000.00 – £55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide EC&I technical services to existing clients as instructed.
  • Meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for the EC&I deliverables as assigned by the Framework Manager.
  • Effectively liaise with the Framework Manager to solve any problems which arise.
  • Ensure that the applicable legislation and standards are applied across all aspects of EC&I delivery to the Project.
  • Provide technical input during design phase, with an emphasis on constructability of the design.
  • Attend site when required.
  • Create electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams.

Required:

  • Solid experience of Electrical Control and Instrumentation engineering specifically in projects – Modifications, testing and technical review of documentation within the energy sector in particular Hazardous Area experience is essential.
  • Experience of instrumentation specification and design integration.
  • Extensive knowledge of control and instrument design standards.
  • Delivery focused and able to achieve business critical timescales and work under pressure.
  • Previous site works experience is desirable.
  • Ideally you will have experience of working in the gas and utilities industry.
