Framework Awarded: Irish Rail – Mechanical and Electrical Framework.

 Long O Donnell are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Mechanical and Electrical Framework throughout Irish Rail Network.

 The framework will be providing mechanical and electrical support across various projects within the Irish Rail network. This will primarily be for the mechanical, electrical and telecoms work required within design and construction stages of Irish Rail projects.

Services Long O Donnell will be providing include:

  1. New train stations – mechanical, electrical and telecom installations.
  2. Refurbishment and upgrading of existing train stations and buildings.
  3. Train depots and services for train maintenance including, fuelling, water, vacuum discharge systems, fume extraction systems, train wash systems, and electrical services.
  4. Office accommodation and facilities for staff.
  5. Utility design and specification.
  6. General specifications, reports, drawings, and pricing summaries for tender documents.
  7. Production of maintenance contacts.
  8. Safety documentation for mechanical, electrical and utilities.
  9. Mechanical and electrical design services for various bus stations and maintenance depots, (Bus Eireann and Dublin Bus), may also be provided.
