New Appointment: Mark Jackson – Director of Infrastructure

 Mark Jackson has recently joined Long O Donnell as Director of Infrastructure and will be responsible for performance across the infrastructure side of the business.

Mark, a chartered engineer, joins us with over 20 years’ experience in flood and water resource engineering, canal restoration, waste management, evaluation analysis, as well as implementation of environmental, waste and flood defence projects and strategies, which has included, flood storage reservoirs, bypass channels, flood defence and EIA. He is also experienced within the study, conception, design, construction, refurbishment and development of refurbishment and business development infrastructure projects including asset management, flood defence, navigation, water resource, maritime and waste management facilities.

 

Within Long O Donnell Mark’s role will include completing the Project Director reviews for all infrastructure projects, encompassing design reviews, risk appraisal, client development, project governance, and commercial appraisal. He will also be responsible for the commercial success of the business, bid management and opportunities, marketing and client development and growth.
