Long O Donnell Associates appointed onto the Scottish Water Framework

Long O Donnell Associates has been awarded a five-year framework contract by Scottish Water to support its delivery for its £1.0bn AMP5 Capital Investment Programme through partnering.

Under AMP5, which will run from April 2010 to March 2015, Long O Donnell Associates Limited will deliver Technical and Cost Management Services throughout the Scottish Water region from its Livingston office.

This framework includes providing support for the capital estimating, including; contract administration and management systems and in particular, specialist support in the fields of:

  • Value Management
  • Risk Management
  • Contract Drafting
  • Procurement
  • Dispute Resolution

We also provide support for the further development of Scottish Water Engineering Estimating System (EES) and the maintenance audit and upkeep of the costing information as Scottish Water’s principal costing engine. Duties would include:

  • Maintenance audit and upkeep of the costing
  • Efficiency identification and implementation
Finally, we are currently negotiating a CAPEX cost reduction exercise for Scottish Water to assist in achieving their regulated cost targets.
