Expansion into Ireland

« Go Back to 2007

Following continuing work with Bord Gais, providing commercial management services and with the Railway Procurement Agency in Dublin on their light-rail transport system, Long O Donnell Associates decided to open a permanent office based in Dublin. This decision shows commitment to develop an existing client base and secure new opportunities. Long O Donnell Associates have recently submitted proposals to the Office of Public Works for Procurement Training and Bord Gais for the all activities associated with maintenance and the local operation of the Western Region Transmission Pipeline System.

In addition to this, following a tender submission Bus Eireann in Dublin earlier this year, Long O Donnell Associates have been selected for inclusion on their Consultancy Services Panel. Bus Eireann is the national road transport passenger transport company and offers a wide range of services catering for different customer groups and market sectors, from Eurolines coach services to Britain and Europe to Local and National Services throughout Ireland.

This expansion across the water has also lead to the company being short listed for the NOF 2007 International Business Award sponsored by Business Travel Limited.

Tom O’Donnell, Director of Long O Donnell Associates commented: "We are extremely proud to announce the opening of a Dublin base, which benchmarks the company's position on international trade and will aid its further growth in Ireland. Our teams’ efforts both here and in Ireland show the determination that we have to prove ourselves on the international stage".

With this commitment to a growing client base in Ireland, Long O Donnell Associates are planning a recruitment initiative to cater for future contracts.
