The Farningham PRI station, located in South of England required upgrading and expanding to accommodate the new 22km 1200mm steel pipeline being constructed between Farningham and Hadlow.

The works included the following:

  • Construction of bases for filters, meters, heaters and boiler houses
  • Installation of E&I Kiosk base
  • Danalizer base
  • Construction of oderizer base and pit
  • Construction of temperature probe pits
  • Grouting of regulator and other housings

Long O Donnell Associates was commissioned through the Project Services framework with Southern Gas Networks plc. on a sole award basis for the provision of full Project Support Services including Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management Services, CDM Co-ordination Services, Health, Safety and Environmental Services to support Southern Gas Networks plc. through the pre-construction and construction stages of the project.
