Long O Donnell were requested by Bord Gais Eireann to conduct a safety review on the proposed new Art Work Installation and proposed site for this installation, located at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2.

The Artwork is proposed to be 4m high x 6m long x 2.5m wide and the structure comprises of a galvanised steel frame supporting decorative panels made of vitreous enamelled steel. Thick shoes, 15mm, will be welded to the underside of the base to create a gap all round through which rainwater can drain in any direction. The gap will be hidden by a rubber bumper and can be jet washed as necessary.

Long O Donnell provided a health and safety management, including a safety review to identify any safety issues that could potentially arise when the artwork was in situ.
