Our Corporate and Social Responsibilities

Long O Donnell Associates are aware of the influence and position that we have both within the sectors we work and the regions we work in. We are keen to ensure that all of our organisation takes on board the responsibilities we have both corporately and in the community to support those in need whether financially or socially.

Social Responsibilities currently supported by Long O Donnell Associates and our team include;

Egerton Youth Club - this registered charity was founded in 1946 by the Right Honourable Maurice Fourth Baron Egerton of Tatton . Lord Egerton held the view that by helping and educating the boys of Knutsford through their leisure time activities they would develop their physical and mental capacities and so become mature and responsible members of society. Since 1964 the Club has functioned and operated to provide the young people of Knutsford with the facilities and support to meet and take part in sport, leisure and social activities. Our Managing Director, Tom O Donnell has been invited to act as one of the Trustees of this registered charity providing time and energy to support its role in the local community.

Fr. Frank Murphy's Recife Children Project, Brazil - this organisation seeks to provide children up to the age of 18 an opportunity to progress out of the favelas (shanty towns) of Recife in North Eastern Brazil.

Children In Need - helping to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK

Breast Cancer Awareness - Wear It Pink Day - Breast Cancer Campaign uses all wear it pink donations to fund innovative, world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. The charity currently supports 92 projects worth over £16.6 million in 34 centres across the UK and Ireland.

Egerton Football Club - a local children's football club which receives support both financially but mainly by giving our time. We have recently provided 18 months of assistance to the club to complete a building project and 4G football pitches which were not proceeding as expected.

Smile Train - An international charity that provides cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children in need, as well as providing cleft-related training to doctors
